"BH Machine" Poturak to face Lascenko in K-1 WGP reserve bout
Dževad Poturak has learned the name of his new opponent at the K-1 World Grand Prix in Zagreb. It will be Ukrainian Sergei Lascenko, and the stakes have gone up as this match has been promoted to the reserve bout of the tournament.
Poturak and Lascenko have already faced each other. At Superkombat Grand Prix 2011, the Ukrainian knocked Dževad out with a knee kick to the body. The "BH Machine" this way gets a rematch, and Lascenko gets to visit Zagreb for a second year in a row. Originally, Poturak was to fight Alexey Ignashov, but the Belarusian canceled his appearance.
At the Cro Cop Final Fight, the Ukrainian met Daniel Ghita for the second time and lost by a spectacular high-kick knockout. After several poor results in 2012, Sergei Lascenko moved from Mike's Gym to Chakuriki. Under the guidance of Thom Harinck, the 25-year old wants to get back on track, and he will have a chance to do so already in Zagreb. Lascenko entered 2012 with a loss to Daniel Ghita at Final Fight. Will 2013 bring him more luck? We'll find out on March 15.
