K-1 announces world amateur championship in London
K-1 organization is far from its prime, but they still did not give up despite the fact that their rival organization Glory took all the world’s best fighters.
It is probably one of the main reasons of strategy changes in the ranks of the Japanese organization that used to be the number one in the world. They also announced a pretty interesting project later this summer – an open amateur championship of the world.
The two-day event will be held September 13 and 14 in England's capital city, and there is no doubt that many fighters from all over the world will go to London on that occasion.
At the moment details are still not known, but it seems that the fighters will be divided into classes according to their experience.
