Glory’s first event this year will be held February 6 in Hamptons, but Murthel Groenhart will not perform at the event.

Groenhart last fought in China at Kunlun Fight where he was KO’ed via high kick by Sittchai from Thailand and thus he has to skip Glory 19 event where he was to participate in the challengers’ tournament in the welterweight division. His replacement in the match against Nieky Holzken will be Alexander Stetsurenko. Other semi-finalists are Raymond Daniels and Jonathan Oliveira from Brazil.

Joe Schilling will also perform at this event which will mark his return to kickboxing. His opponent will be Robert Thomas. A couple of days ago Schilling signed a new contract with Glory after receiving permission for Bellator.

In the main event at Glory 19 Rico Verhoeven will defend the heavyweight division title against Errol Zimmerman.
