CES 56 is done and dusted after a stacked card which was a cracking night of fights. Nick Newell was arguably one of the main features for most fans as he co headlined the card on UFC Fight Pass. Newell’s opponent, Antonio Castillo Jr, took the fight on short notice and put on a brave effort in the bout. Castillo Jr came out fast pressuring Newell with striking until he was subsequently thrown to the mat by Newell in spectacular fashion.

Newell’s prowess on the ground really showed then as he went to work. He pulled off what many could say is his trade mark move of taking the back with ease and sinking in a rear-naked choke. The choke executed beautifully and forced the tap. Newell made the fight look like easy work as he got the job done in just over two minutes. Following the bout he had nothing but praise for his opponent and then went on to call out for his UFC shot. Check out the choke that finished it all below.
