Lion Fight Promotions, the worldwide leader in Muay Thai combat, has added four bouts to its stacked card set for Friday, September 29th at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

  • Steve “Put Em To Sleep” Walker vs. Robert Morrow – Super Cruiserweight
  • Jafar “The Cookie Monster” Toshev vs. Jonathan George – Lightweight
  • Brian “Magoo” Bogue vs. Cris Mims – Super Middleweight
  • Yeison “Yayyoo” Berdugo vs. Jessi Hackett – Super Lightweight

Hulking fan favorite Steve “Put Em To Sleep” Walker (1-0) returns to the Lion Fight ring coming a sensational professional debut at Lion Fight 37 when he used devastating kicks and knees to earn a first-round TKO stoppage. Without a single fellow prospect wanting to accept the challenge, Walker, who fights out of Boston, will again take on a veteran of combat sports as he faces Chicago’s Robert Morrow (Muay Thai pro debut) in a super cruiserweight bout.

Another hot prospect returning to the Lion Fight den is lightweight Jafar “The Cookie Monster” Toshev (1-0). The Brooklyn, New York, striker has overcome injuries sustained in an automobile accident that forced him off the Lion Fight 37 card, and he is now healed and prepared to move forward. He’ll step in against the always game Jonathan George (2-2) of Woodbridge, Virginia.

The third notable prospect stepping into the fray at Lion Fight 38 is super middleweight Brian “Magoo” Bogue. After a long and successful stint in the amateur ranks, the Cranston, Rhode Island, native will make his professional debut as will his opponent Cris Mims, a Roufusport product from Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Rounding out the pro bouts slated for Lion Fight 38 is a super lightweight clash pitting Providence, Rhode Island’s brash and flashy Yeison “Yayyoo” Berdugo up against Virginia-based rookie pro Jessi Hackett.

Headlining the Lion Fight 38 card is showdown for the super lightweight title as former Lumpinee Stadium champion Tong “Tukkatong” Anucha (165-30-8) takes on rival Thai Saemapetch Fairtex (115-14-1.
