Singdam Faces Mathias Jonsson For YOKKAO 33 Main Event
It’s been almost 5 months since his last ring appearance but Singdam is ready to make his return. Coming this 29th October in Hong Kong, the multi time world champion will headline YOKKAO 33 as he takes on Sweden’s up-and-coming fighter, Mathias Jonsson.
This marks Singdam’s second appearance in Hong Kong and he will be looking to mark it with a strong performance. During the time-off from competing, the Black Lion has left no time to waste as he continued his intensive training schedule in preparation for his next fight. The time has come and the YOKKAO fighter will face a very young and exciting opponent in Mathias Jonsson.
Making his first appearance for YOKKAO promotion, the 23 year-old fights out of Sweden’s Tullinge Muay Thai Gym with an impressive record of 37 wins-7 losses including 13 KOs. Jonsson is also a 3-time Swedish Muay Thai champion and a regular medalist at the IFMA world championships. It’s a battle of experience versus youth and a fight that will send sparks flying.
Singdam will be joined by his fellow team mates for the coming Hong Kong show. Manachai, Yodchai, Nobita, Iquezang, and Spencer Brown are all set to appear on the YOKKAO 33 – 34 double event. In the evening’s other headliner, Manachai will look to capture his first ever championship belt as he takes on Brazil’s Julio Lobo for the coveted WBC Muay Thai world welterweight title.
