Check out how Vaso Bakočević won the title in Linz! (VIDEO)
The best Montenegrin MMA fighter, Vaso Bakočević, won the Mix Fight Night title last weekend in Linz. Bakočević celebrated due to the disqualification of his opponent who used illegal techniques leaving the referee with no choice but to award the victory to Vaso.
Until the stoppage Uvais "Aslan" Bisayev was much more concrete, better and he dominated the bout. He was disqualified because of a soccer kick that nailed Bakočević to the ground. The referee protected the Montenegrin fighter, stopped the match and awarded the victory to Vaso. Bisayev’s corner stated the opinion by raising Bisayev’s hand while the referee proclaimed Vaso the winner.
This was Bakočević’s third victory in a row after he defeated Stanislav Enchev in Skopje at FFC 10. He also beat Ivan Kozachenko at Tesla FC 4 that took place in Belgrade, Serbia, only two weeks ago. It seems that the visit to Thailand did well to the Montenegrin fighter. Bakočević spent last couple of months in the homeland of Muay Thai where he worked on his stand up techniques.
It has already been announced that Bakočević is to fight Franciso “Croata” Barrio at Final Fight this fall. Check out Vaso’s victory in Austria:
