The best Croatian fighter of all time and worldwide fighting superstar, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic will be the special guest of the FFC 10 martial arts event to be held this Friday, December 13, in the capital of Macedonia – Skopje.

Filipovic – who typically isn't too fond of spending time away from his hometown of Zagreb – has decided to travel to Macedonia in order to support Final Fight, the promotion that steered his career back into kickboxing some year and a half ago, as well as to support his friend Ricco "Suave" Rodriguez. This former UFC heavyweight champ headlines FFC 10 against dangerous Greek fighter Nestoras Batzelas. Given that Rodriguez spent the last week preparing in Zagreb with his idol Filipovic, Mirko is arriving in Skopje to stand in Rodriguez's corner and give him some advice on his fight with Batzelas.

"I wanted to support the Final Fight promotion in this way, and we are in for a true martial arts spectacle in the Boris Trajkovski arena. I recently met Ricco, who trained with me in Zagreb, and being in his corner is the least I can do to support him in this challenging match. Batzelas, as far as I've heard, is a difficult opponent, and Ricco won't have an easy time. I've heard a lot of nice things about Skopje, Macedonia and the Macedonian people, so I'm glad I'm coming. I believe that FFC 10 will be a real treat for martial arts fans," Cro Cop said regarding his trip to Skopje.

In addition to Rodriguez vs. Batzelas, FFC 10 offers a number of outstanding kickboxing and MMA matchups. In total, there will be no less than four Macedonian fighters participating, the standouts being Slobodan Kajmakoski and Ile Risteski, who will have a very tough job in their respective matches against Croat Teo Mikelic and Albanian Shkodran Veseli. Also notable is the appearance of the best Albanian hitter and European kickboxing star Rustemi Kreshnik, who is set to face Croatian heavyweight Dino Belosevic. All in all, visitors in the Boris Trajkovski arena will see 12 top-level fights and about four hours of martial arts contents.
