FFC 23 that is to take place March 18 at Multiversum Schwechat went through some lineup changes and completed its fight card.

The most significant changes are related to the main fights of the event. One of the Austria’s best MMA fighters Philipp Schranz (15-7) will fight excellent Englishman James ‘Job Done’ Brum (17-3). It will also be the main MMA event as well as Brum’s FFC debut.

Unfortunately, Croatia’s contender Matej ‘DoKoske’ Truhan was forced to step out of the match with Viktor Halmi (16-8). Halmi will now fight Dagestani FFC debutant Ramazan Sulebanov (4-1). Moreover, Tomislav Spahović also had to cancel his performance and was replaces by Georgia’s Giga Kukhalashivi (5-3) that will fight one of the best Russia’s light heavyweights Artur Astakhov (12-3).

Sadeghi vs. Movsisyan

There were also a couple of changes in the kickboxing part of the event. Austria’s legendary kickboxer with more than 130 professional matches, Foad Sadeghi, is now to fight in the main event. His opponent will be one of the best FFC lightweights and former contender Tigran Movsisyan. This switch happened when Teo Mikelić, who was originally to fight Sadeghi, sustained an injury. However, since Movsisyan KO’ed Mikelić at FFC in Linz, Sadeghi will have even more difficult task ahead of him.

Holland’s Eyevan Danenberg also got a new opponent since Albania’s Shkodran Veseli also sustained an injury and was thus replaced by Ayub Gaziev. Most of other kickboxing matches remain unchanged.
