FFC – Soldić calls out Jelčić: “I am ready for war!”
FFC welterweight champion Roberto Soldić called out another FFC champ on his Instagram profile to fight him on the upcoming FFC event.
Ever since he joined the FFC ranks, Soldić (9-2) impressed the fans with excellent matches in which he defeated Drobac and Trušček. In the meanwhile he also won Superior FC belt in the same division.
Jelčić (10-2) won his lightweight belt in December 2016 when he defeated Danilo Beluardo in Zagreb, Croatia. He had his first title defense a couple of weeks ago in Ljubljana when he defeated Roberto Pastuch via stoppage.
The latest FFC event in Ljubljana featured title unification match in kickboxing part of the event. Slovenia’s Samo Petje defeated Eyevan Danenberg and became a two-division champion. In case FFC decides to do the same in MMA, Ječić would have to fight in heavier division or perhaps Soldić would be forced to drop the weight. Anyhow, both scenarios are possible since Jelčič is very big and tall for his division.
So far FFC released no statement on this possibility.
