Bisping lands the role in the upcoming ‘My Name is Lenny’ biopic
Everything is perfect in Michael Bisping’s life.
The newly crowned UFC 185-pound champion has landed the role of Roy Shaw in the upcoming biopic titled “My Name is Lenny” about bare-knuckle boxer Lenny McLean. Bisping announced the news via his Instagram account early Monday.
This marks the latest role “The Count” has taken in Hollywood, recently accepting a role in “xXx: Return of Xander Cage” in the “xXx” franchise made famous by Vin Diesel in the early 2000s. Interestingly enough, the role in this film was originally designed for Conor McGregor, who opted out of the project after deciding he’d be better off preparing for his rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 200 (ultimately UFC 202).
Bisping is currently scheduled to defend his UFC championship in Manchester this October.
