Despite the fact Jon Jones may be able to return to the cage earlier than expected, champ Daniel Cormier is adamant that he’ll fight the winner of Anthony Johnson vs. Glover Teixeira next, according to BloodyElbow.

Jon Jones recently received a positive update regarding his failed USADA drug test and current temporary suspension, but Daniel Cormier doesn’t care. Even if Jones can return sooner than expected, the UFC light heavyweight champion is adamant that he will defend his belt next against the winner of Anthony Johnson vs. Glover Teixeira, which co-headlines UFC 202 this weekend.

„I’m fighting winner of glover vs rumble. Don’t care how his plays out,“ wrote Cormier on his Twitter.

UFC president Dana White recently stated that it appears interim UFC light heavyweight champion Jones “did not take the drug everybody thought he took,” and that if that remains true, “it could look good for” him.
