Wanderlei Silva

Legendary Wanderlei Silva has been one of the most popular UFC fighters for years. He moved from Brazil to Las Vegas where he opened his gym and settled down with his family. He was also one of Dana White's favorite fighters, but the big love withered with years and their relationship became more and more problematic.

It all culminated last year when Wand decided not to take a doping test which resulted in a lifetime suspension by the Athletic Commission. However, the Brazilian fighter blamed his employer more than the authorities. A couple of days ago he said they treated him like a slave in the UFC while Dana White who does not agree with „The Axe Murderer“ soon responded.

"Wanderlei Silva ran form a drug test. He ran from a drug test. If he’s a slave, he’s a slave of his own doing," White fired back. "He did this to himself. The UFC didn’t do anything to Wanderlei Silva. Actually, everything that’s happening to Wanderlei Silva, he brings to himself," said Dana White.
