Edgar and Mendes to headline TUF 22!

Only one day before the fight for the unification of the UFC featherweight title with Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor, we will see another interesting match in the same category.

The Ultimate Fighter Finale 22 includes a match between top featherweight fighters Chad Mendes and Frankie Edgar.

Chad Mendes (17-3) will enter the match after the defeat he suffered from Conor McGregor at UFC 189. Edgar (01/04/19) hoped that he would get a chance to fight for the interim title against McGregor, but it did not happened. Now he has four consecutive victories and he won his last match via unanimous decision against Urijah Faber.

The winner of this match could get a title shot against the winner of the Aldo vs. McGregor match.

The Ultimate Fighter Finale 22 will be held on December 11 and in this event we will see the return of Khabib Nurmagomedov after knee surgery in the co-main event. His opponent will be Tony Ferguson.
