Fabricio Werdum says Fedor win was bigger than Cain Velasquez
In June Fabricio Werdum unified the UFC belts when he defeated Cain Velasquez in the third round in Mexico. Despite that fact that it was a great success that made some big changes in the top when it comes to heavyweight division, the 38 year old Brazilian fighter believes that the brightest moment of his career was actually his victory over Fedor.
This Strikeforce event from that took place in 2010 stopped Russian fighter’s domination since he ruled the division for ten years. The fight that went to the ground very soon lasted just a bit over minute but the outcome shocked the world. However, today Werdum is a completely different beast who turned into a great stand up fighter as well.
