Frank Mir used to be the UFC’s heavyweight champion but now he has to face the fact that he lost his last four matches.

He scored his last victory three years ago when he defeated Nogueira. After that he only had losses. In the UFC heavyweight title match he lost to Junior dos Santos and then he lost to Daniel Cormier, Josh Barnett and Alistair Overeem. Due to his poor streak he is aware of the fact that his following match might be his last match as well.

“I haven’t fought the easiest of opponents, they didn’t want to cooperate. The strongest factor, fighting Junior dos Santos, and Cormier; fighting top levels guy night after night, you can show up at your best and still not come out on top”, said Frank Mir.

He is to reenter the Octagon February 28 2015 and fight Antonio Silva. Bigfoot also has a poor streak at the moment and Mir is aware it will be a difficult task but he does not want to think about retirement.

“I think [all my fights]l are (do or die). Yeah, I think I have to come out with a very significant performance.”
Frank Mir and Antonio Silva are to fight at UFC 184 event that will be headlined by Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort who are to fight for the middleweight title. At the same event Cat Zingano will try to take the title from Ronda Rousey.
