Ronaldo Souza and Yoel Romero were to fight at UFC 184 February 28, but the match was cancelled due to Souza’s illness. The world’s leading MMA promotion set a date of their new encounter in the Octagon.

Ronaldo Souza and Yoel Romero will in the end fight at UFC on FOX that will take place April 18 and which will be headlined by Lyoto Machida and Luke Rockhold. Thus, after this matches it will be clear who is to fight for the middleweight division title and against the winner of the match between Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort. Of course, when that match finally happens, since Weidman was to defend the title at UFC 184 but he had to cancel due to an injury.
