UFC entitled to match the best offer for Rampage
Quinton Jackson, better known as Rampage, had his last fight the previous weekend in the UFC, ending an essential part of his career. Unfortunately, it came with a defeat by Glover Teixeira, who was visibly the better fighter on the night.
But, there is a small chance for us to see Rampage again in the UFC's octagon. Dana White disclosed they had the right to match the best offer Quinton may get from a competing organization, but this is not very likely to happen.
"I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Jackson should work with people who make him happy. It think we've already done everything in our power to make him happy. If there's somebody out here who can treat him better than we have, that’s awesome, but I do have the right to match."
