Wanderlei Silva

The Nevada Athletic Commission suspended Wanderlei Silva for life after he dodged the unannounced doping test. However, this suspension is not valid in case of other organizations and locations and Wanderlei is looking for the opportunity to fight somewhere else.

However, it seems that Silva still has a valid contract with the UFC which prohibits him to fight while he was allegedly to have some matches in Brazil and Japan. This is why he tweeted a message to the UFC President.

“Slavery now? So, I can’t work, Dana? You’re not the boss of me, I can fight wherever I want.”

Although he earlier expressed his disappointment in UFC’s treatment of the fighters and he announced he would retired, he is obviously not short of matches. The only question is how the UFC leaders are going to react.
