Peter Furny: ’Other mistakenly look to KO Klitschko’

Tyson Fury
Tyson Fury did what everyone believed almost impossible. He dethroned the heavyweight champ, the long untouchable Wladimir Klitschko. Tyson's uncle and coach Peter Fury came up with the tactics for the match.
“Everyone comes trying to land that big knockout punch. What people need to realize is boxing is an art. It's not about landing one big shot, trying to take an opponent out, leaving yourself open to be caught. It's about angles, it's about feints, it's about movements, getting the distance. So much is involved. If you can't hit it, you can't beat it,“ said Peter Fury, Tyson's uncle and trainer.
Statistics tell it all. Fury was 86 of 371 in total on the night, which is some 23 %, meaning that he threw only 31 punches per round. Klitschko could not hit. He was 52 out of 231 in total averaging 4 of out 17 per round.
