Manasak-Martinez title bout tops Lion Fight 55 lineup

Lion Fight 55
Lion Fight will crown its first-ever Super Bantamweight World champion when the promotion makes its debut in Italy.

Lion Fight 55, which will be co-promoted by Oktagon, will take place at the Candy Arena in Monza, Italy, on Saturday, May 25th. The event, which will air on same-day tape on CBS Sports Network, is topped by a showdown between Thai star Manasak and Spain’s Kevin “Bravo” Martinez for the world title belt at 122 lbs.
Few fighters can match Manasak’s career resume, highlighted by over 200 bouts and top rankings in several prestigious organizations including the Rajadamnern title, along with Toyota and Isuzu tournament championships. But Martinez has a strong reputation of his own and won’t be backing down from his foe.
Three other bouts are featured on the main card for Lion Fight 55. In a women’s super bantamweight title eliminator, Slovenia’s Monika Kucinic will make her much-anticipated promotional debut as she takes on Sveva Melillo, who won a qualifier of her to earn a spot on this card. Kucinic boasts 14 wins in her career, nearly half ending by way of knockout.

In a super middleweight clash, another recently signed standout makes his first appearance inside the Lion Fight ring as Alex “Bodyhammer” Bublea goes after the 72nd victory of his career as he meets Enrico Carrera.
Also confirmed for the card is a super welterweight battle between Romania’s Pavel Diac takes on Alex Ajouatsa of Cameroon.
